He's probably trying to learn proper English because the robobuttler from Shaggy and Scooby Doo get a clue kept pronouncing his name wrong. Β Β Β

And Velma already told him once that it's very hard to get his talking on phone.

Great job on this. I really appreciate you liking the idea enough to do it. Of course, Peabody could probably rig up a special collar to improve Scooby's speech, but that would be cheating.
Peabody: Indeed and, when the battery runs out, I'd be back to square one anyway.

Sherman- Or maybe we can use the Wayback Machine and go back to when Scooby was a puppy so you can teach him good speaking from an early age.

Unless Peabody has a lot of paitience, It may take him about 2 to 4 years to get Scooby to speak english clearly. (About 1 year just to get a breakthrough to stop talking with R's at the beginning of each word.)

Heh, truth. Or he can travel back in time with Sherman and meet a young Scooby so he can teach him as a pup.

I still rate Peabody's cartoon over Scooby's. But then again, Scooby didn't have many puns...

Yep; since Peabody's animation was even more limited than Scooby's, the writers relied heavily on puns to make it funny.

You have to admit though at least puns have a bit of cleverness to them. I'm not sure Scooby's cartoons ever had a clever moment.
*shrugs* But then, I've seen few of either, soooo...

You mean Peabody's Improbable History.
Scooby-Doo would never make a temporary replacement for Mr. Peabody's assistant Sherman.
