Stained Glass WindowStained Glass Window from a beautiful and very old church.
The darkness surrounded the high glass.
It was hidden in a deep alcove in a corner of the building.
I was shooting from the balcony of the church this stained glass window loomed behind me.
The window seemed like it was at least twenty feet high.
I had to capture it.
When you're in a dark church the windows shine down on you with a strange glow.
It makes you feel connected to another time,
in another part of the world,
even when you're still standing in the same place.
In the same city.
Living the same life...
Wishing you weren't.
