This is my addition to Desktopography 2013 - check it out!: desktopography.net/ (You can download it from here)The image is a photo-manipulation constructed entirely from photos I shot in a forest in a park near my apartment, I used it as an opportunity to play with new techniques and source material. I made this way back in June this year, before this I hadn't played with kind of source material before on such a scale.

this is an awesome piece of art! i always liked dragons and nature shots and this captures both of them.
the fact that its a photomanipulation opposed to being drawed makes it imo even better!
i like the calm and emptyness really, but i feel you should have added just al tille bit to the background, just enough to not distract from the dragon itself.
this will be a nice addition to my desktop backgrounds, thank u!

I did dabble with options for the background but they were a bit too distracting. The original plan was to build a forest around the dragon but it started getting lost against it (there was basically a camouflaging effect happening which I guess is a good sign?).

well its your art, and you do what looks best in your opinion. also i noticed the smoke/fire from its mouth. it pretty hard to see tough, also mist could make a fine addition to this piece.
that might be a way to blend in some background, oh i dont know just saying!!
