Description
Northern Pacific 4-8-4 number 2610 is having its train loaded down with head-end passenger cars at Minneapolis St Paul, Minnesota.
This handsome oil-burner was part of the first order 4-8-4 'Northern' types placed by the NP from the American Locomotive Company
Schenectady shops in 1926.
However there were some initial teething issues of their power and under-boiler at first, thus those kinks had to be sorted out.
