Barrier of some sort...I don't know why, but I've always liked how I animated this...I could have had him move his hands like a Mime, but there's something about the simplicity of keeping his hands in place that just said 'do this' to me

Yea...this is definitely a very interesting animation. If you had it move it's hands, the illusion of a barrier would be less noticeable. Nice work!
