Description
Kabutops are very well adapted hunters.Once kabuto evolve they cease being they prey to such larger animals as Omastar etc, to being the predators who hunt Omastar and omanyte.
Their large blades double as fins in the water, but when attacking or on land they are powerful weapons. They have been found to have hunted and eaten prey much larger than themselves. Like many crustaceans they can eject their blades when in trouble.
In some other fossils, kabutops blades have been found lodged in bone.
Kabutops had to be evolved from a kubuto that was brought back using cloning. When the first evolved it was world news and they did intensive studies into its lifestyle, diet and battle skills. It proved to be an amazing battlier as they have strong armour, weapons but also determination. They are now one of the most highly priced fossil pokemon you can buy.
Hope you like it

That is... just breathtakingly magnificent. I never thought very much about Kabutops, but this picture makes it look awesome... and frightening too. I really like how you've done its eyes, they actually LOOK primordial and savage. The way you've done the fossil behind the Pokemon is nice also. Very, VERY well done, Josh. Picture, description, all wonderful. Love it.

Very nicely done! I mis having the time to look at al of these. This is a fantastic species. Are the females or the males more agresive?

Males generally, because they have the crustacean equivalent to testosterone. Its nothing to do with mating or protecting young as they abandon their young to survive after they lay the eggs

Ah, understood. Than you for the information. I would love to own one of these. And yes, of the male persuasion to give me an edge. (haha, edge)
