Description
Psyduck are interesting animals. Originally thought to be some kind of bird due to the bill, it has been found to be a mammal.Living primarily in fresh water, they can be found in swampy like areas where they can be seen swimming deep under the water, returning with clumps of weed or occasionally a fish.
They are known for not being the most smart creatures, however if trained correctly can be powerful allies due to its surprisingly powerful psychic abilities. These abilities have been associated to self defense, rather than offensive attacks as they only tend to be powerful when the pokemon is scared, angry or in pain. Many Psyduck's are effected by strong migraines that amplify these attacks, however causing them a great deal of pain.
They are also strong water pokemon and have a powerful water bladder that can hold many gallons of water at a time.
Hope you like it

Many of you voted to Psyduck being a platypus rather than an actual duck, so sorry to all you people who wanted it as a bird

I have always loved how you draw realistic Pokemon. Until now I've always considered Psyduck to be a, well.....duck. After I read your description though I think that if Psyduck were real it would make the most sense for it to be like a platypus. I love the drawing and love your stories behind the pictures you draw. Thank you for putting so much effort into this!

Something new at least. I actually didn't give thought about the resemblance to a platypus until now.
