Nintales are smart and loyal creaures.They live in deep forested areas and rarely venture into populated areas (unlike in prevo).
Once Vulpix evolve they stop living in holes in the ground and start to make nests in sheltered areas, bringing grass and twigs, especially when they are breeding.
They only breed with one mate for a lifetime and can go into depression if seperated from them. that it why it is best to capture a Vulpix and evolve it because otherwise they will be unresponsive and even agressive.
Females in winter get a blue tint to their fur and males get a stronger orange tint in mating season.
It is a myth that they actually have nine seperate tails. They have clumped fur that they preen into nine strips. It is unknown why they do this but it is thought it might have something to do with keeping their tails out of the way for battle etc.

Aw, shucks, shoulda kept the nine tales thiny, I love that aspect of them, although your version of them preening is very creative.
It's soooooo beautiful, and actually, I always envisioned Ninetales to change colors with the seasons as well.

Ah, Naruto is a main character from the ninja manga of the same name and he has a ninetailed demon fox sealed inside him.

might be a kitsune that inside him, thats what ninetails is based off, its a japanese mythical creature
