a sketch that built up as warmups before doing pagework on Darkstalkers*started with the venom/donovan after flippin through Joe Mad's Ultimates 3 book(pencils version) so the resemblance is from thar
threw in Sentinel and good ol' Justin Seyfert for kicks haha

its 110lb paper-and i use a scrap piece of paper under my hand while I draw(if theres something drawn underneath)

k i do that lol but when i close the sketchbook it always smudges lol but ill just do my work digitally from now on thanks tho

try using a harder pencil too-if you use soft pencils they'll smudge unless you spray the paper with one of those protective sprays

aw man, he's fun as hell to draw. hes so damn acrobatic there's a million poses to draw him in. and his body's ability to absorb shadows makes it fun to play with the shading on him. i've officially drawn him too much over the years probably.....ah well. heh. from what i've seen on MvsC 3 he'd play like Wesker with the teleports. Wesker/Spider-Man/Strider, perhaps. Either way...badass pencils all around. heh.
