Its going to a awesome 
Tonight i start off 2014 with a comic parodying another Classic Peanuts strip that had Schroeder in it . this strip makes me simile. What am i saying any peanut strip I read makes me simile.
UPDATE: i changed the pun name of pothoven to Baythoven because a lot of you pointed out that it was ruining the impact of the joke which i agree now after reading it again.
in all honestly i am bad at writing funny stuff but i am going to try my hand at more humour comics this year and think before i post.

I experimented with my use of natural lighting by setting the comic under some foliage to add a different mood to the overall art.

Indeed, that would have been better than either of my suggestions back in 2014. Baythoven doesn't make much obvious sense.

As a comic, it doesn't hold up well; I'm not sure what's tying the set-up to the punchline. Is a concert being held outside near the path Octavia's on? Or does Vinyl practice in the middle of an empty landscape?
Still, I love how you draw Octavia in motion, panel 2 especially, so I'll be saving this in my MLP art folder reserved for pieces without story telling and dialogue.

Okay, now it sounds like Beethoven at least, but the pun itself doesn't really make obvious sense…Bay? As in, hay? Bhaythoven might work for that visually (it would still be pronounced the same), but then it doesn't really translate to a pun when spoken, like Beethoofen would (compare bay-toe-vin with bait-hoof-in). If it's not a pun with Hay, then I'm afraid the pun might be a bit too obscure for most. Still need to work on your Equestrian puns! Getting warmer, though. Pretty sure Celestia has a royally appointed ministry to ensure that any and all applicable puns are applied whenever opportunities arise for their use. Don't want to see her send you…to tha moooooon-ah!
p.s. I'm pretty sure Beethoofen has been used before, there's really no shame in using it here. No need to re-invent the wheel, and no shame in using what already works.

It happened later on in life. He was able to hide it pretty well at first but as it progressed it just became too much. That said he did compose the famous 9th symphony of his while being completely unable to hear it.
