Experimenting with my different digital painting styles in this one both using my 2d and 3d techniques and using a limited colour palette of orange and purple . obviously i am constantly leaning and improving 
Also i have included two obscure references to NYC because i like to do a bit of research when i am drawing a certain place.

Just finished re-reading it, so that may have been what triggered the thought when I saw the scarves, but is there any connection to University Days (fanfic by Dawnfade on fimfiction)? The characters are adorable, and the background is pleasingly detailed. I hadn't noticed the purple/orange palette until you mentioned it in the description, but seeing what you've done with it, the simplicity of colors creates a wonderful fall feeling. Love it.
