lol My cat doesn't stare at her reflection, but she does sit in the hallway facing the wall and just meows for no reason. You'll hear her crying, and you'll call her, but she won't come. She'll just keep meowing. So you go looking for her, and you find her sitting down close to wall and just staring at it. And then she'll look at you and meow some more, like, of course she's meowing at a wall. Why wouldn't she be?

She probably hears a mouse moving between the walls of your house. They'll meow at it because they're trying to tell you there's something there and she WANTS it, so you, human, open this wall so she can get what she wants, of course. One of our cats does the same thing with the mice at the barn. Sits and meows at the wall because he can't get to them until they dart out. XD

My cat did the same thing one night. Except he thought it was another cat and his hairs were all on end while he just sat there frozen for so long. I tried to touch him just to break the spell and he went NUTS! 5 feet in the air paws flying every direction.

hahhaa. that sounds really funny, but i gotta warn you, don't ever touch cats when they're upset about something.
cause they're pretty infamous for misdirected anger, like when they are upset about a cat being in their territory, and their fur is on end and they're growling, if you touch them, it's a very good possibility that the cat will turn around and latch onto your arm
i've actually had it happen before LOL
