Well ... can be said that I really want to see these couples in the manga. Especially Laxus and Cana, of course XDBut I like this variant: Raijinshu+Strauss, Laxus+Cana (Fairy Law + Fairy Glitter, hehehe) Because it is so ... logical? I don't know, but i ship them!)

Hm... this doesn't seems like Hiro's art... But even if it's his work, it's more like mockery, rather than something serious. And I do not believe in yaoi in shounen-manga, especially in Fairy Tail 
However, it's just my opinion)

it's an extra from volume 33, if you see the previous pages it's obviously Hiro's (or that impostor is seriously skilled)
I think he said that he faked that reaction to girls because he wanted Cana and Lucy to win.
I never believed he was straight anyway, his obsession with Laxus was too suspicious. He could still be bi though

Freed reacted to the girls quite clearly before the battle with Cana and Lucy.
As for the relationship to Laxus... I have many times come across such hyperbole in anime|manga... so...
