I rendered this in Max 2008, with V-Ray and the use of its hair/grass system, which I think is phenomenally good. It's so easy to set up good grass, and it looks very realistic. And it doesn't really kill the computer on rendering times.

I wanted to try this and make an isolated place, more for practice with V-Ray as I had just gotten the plug-in.
