Arcee : well, it is certainly nice to have another girl around... all of Team Prime's member are male.. they just don't understand girl's problem... Even Optimus...Elita : Well, how about Miko or Mrs Darby ?
Arcee : Have you seen Miko ? she might be a girl but she doesn't act like one.. she even aligned herself with the Wreckers... And June is not always around...
Poor Arcee.. she doesn't have someone to share her "girl" problem.. well, at least not until Elita shows up... they spend their free time alone on the rooftop and talk about their experiences...Β

actually about modelling and compositing, i can post the process, but not tutorial.. because the skill of doing this is nothing special.. its all the same with any other 3D modelling... and any photoshop compositing..

Any advice on how to design a Transformers character that actually works?Β I'd like to get started on a series I've done a lot of writing on, but I want to make sure my designs work.Β Basically, if they were made into toys, they'd need to transform the same way and to the same scale, but they also need to be to-scale to a human figure as well.

hmm.. im actually not sure how to design the transformation part, the best thing is make sure that the design is fit the series.. ( which in this case,Transformers Prime ) i mean, the toyline in transformers prime is actually quite different with the series.. Especially Arcee.. in the movie, er motorcycle alt mode is only as big as her thigh.. it is obvious during the transformation, the animator scale her up to fit... and even in Bay's Transformers, those convincing transformation is actually has a lot of deformation and polygon clipping.. ( i know that coz one of the technical supervisor told me... ) so i think, Β the bottomline is, try to avoid mass shifting..

Yeah.Β I'm really not a fan of mass shifting.
I will admit that I do have one character that would require mass shifting though, but that's because you never see him with the same alt mode twice.Β
