Wait....I'm doing a 3d course using Lightwave (Which I hate, Maya is so much better) how do you place her physically in your room, do you use HDRI photos of your room and user it as a light source for her and then place her in a pre recorded scene.Β

im not actually use any HDRI... just a still photohgraph of my room from the same angle, and use that as an IBL texture. then i put a lightsource according to wherever the lightsource from the photograph is... that give me a good starting point for me to composite it in after effect later... then i render few passes for compositing... such as RGB light, Normal maps, AO, etc... Β im still not quite happy with the result though...
as for the matchmoving camera, i use Boujou... Β

Thanks very informative, Lightwave presumably is better than maya, but the constant works I see done in maya proves Lightwave is lying through it's teeth.Β
