Description
This is my latest 3d effort, its a portrait of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. It was created using 3dsmax, Zbrush and photoshop. I really wanted to achieve a good likeness. So, I put a lot of time and effort into the structure of the model as well as the details, like the textures, shaders, and the hair.Let me know what you think!

Sans the plasticity of the skin and the lack of life in the eyes it is perfect. But those are almost always the problem even with the best of artists. I approve!

This is a marvelous rendering. My only criticism is in his expression. He looks a bit too angry to me for Capt. Jack. The sly, "I-know-something-you-don't know," self-confident grin and perpetually half-stoned look borrowed from Kieth Richards...that's more Captain Jack as I think of him.Β Otherwise, this is spectacularly done. Congratulations.
