David and Guinevere are my first set of star-crossed lovers in "Serenity Saga". Orignially I hated David and threw him into a minor part, with intentions to kill him off. But then, just as Guinevere came to love him so did I. Being of two different and opposing countries, their love is not highly smiled upon, but by the time Guinevere's marriage is ended for once and for all she is ready to have a honest and loving relationship. It's very difficult to understand taking it out of context, but this is a very touching scene.
