Ok, So I was thinking to combine the Ultimate version and the original. I'll go more in depth with the Venom description. Peter and Eddie's dad were researching the venom symbiote(an alien that was discovered on an asteroid in Central Park) for it's possibility of curing cancer.

Now, when Peter is in high school and Eddie is in College. Eddie and Curt Connors continue the research.

Peter gains it like he did in Spectacular Spider-Man, while trying to stop Black Cat from stealing it. This was shortly after they put the Big Man away. When Green Goblin kills Gwen, Peter lashes out and kills him. He then rips it off and it goes onto Eddie Brock.
