Yea it's pretty surreal to see an object on the sky so close to us ! ^^ Thank you for your comment.

i personally feel this piece would be much more successful without the moon, it's great though

Wow. The first idea I had was that this is a perfect landscape of E.D.N. III from "Lost Planet". This vast frozen plain and a vaning moon in the back... A feeling that the whole planet is frozen to the core... *brrrrr* Nice job!

Nice render, its too bad you've got the fractal lines in the terrain but still very nice.

You could try adding a layer of small displacements in there, that will help kill of the majority of those lines. Plus it will add a little more depth to the terrain.

It's really beautiful. The snow the sky and I love that the moon is just a sliver of a crescent, somehow it makes it go perfectly with the scene. It's a focal point and draw without being too heavy or taking away.

It's looking great - but the shadows on the ground - their roundness and pattern-like appearance confuses me....

Jscenery In reply to tadp0l3 [2010-11-09 22:46:55 +0000 UTC]
I can ensure you that no shadows were touched after render, some blurring has been done tho, maybe that's what confuses you ? Well Everyone has their own point of view and i respect urs !
Thanks from your comment my friend !
