Description
.The story my friends is a victory.
It is because of you, do you see,
that I stand here after all these years
bearing my soul, devoid of fear?
You give me courage.
I know you didn't know,
but you give me courage
to carry this load.

we all have it, the one thing that shattered us and made us whole at the same time, the one thing that looms over us and sometimes covers our hearts. i believe that this is the same thing that makes us sensitive of others' needs, of others' pains.
i sat back and watched Her, watched Her run up the hill, looked at Her as she viewed the stars in the black sky, the stars which owe Her their sparkles and glitters. i watched Her and felt admiration flow from within me, pouring out, washing over me. i felt a smile form in my face. i smile as She celebrates Her victory.

They say that which does not kill us only serves to make us stronger. She carried the load in pain and agony....it seemingly getting heavier and more difficult to bear. It is often when we turn our attention from a burden that the solution is found. The courage and support of others gives us the strength to go on...you don't have to bear the burden of the load alone because there are so many to share. You are truly an inspiration to us all. Your wonderful poetry carries so many meanings....each one seemingly more important than the previous.

...she has managed to carry this load that seems 200 years old, giving halloween treats, christmas candies, weaving rhymes and amazing tales to reach out to the hearts of others. i was simply captured by the strength i saw in her. does she know..that her dazzling parade would make even a matt turquoise sky sparkle?

burdens are meant to be carried, to test one's self trueness. To see how much one can stand... It is life's meaning, suffering and pain, so that it makes relationships and people stronger, able to fight harder and better.... it is the way it is. Nice poem.

it makes it so much easier to share a piece of your heart when you know that the people who hold it will cherish it
and you have a beautiful heart it's easy to cherish it
at first i found it hard to splatter my heart across a computer screen but i realized that so many people have the same feelings and as they read the poems it helped them to express theirs
hopes and dreams are the mainstay of life without them we would be animals thanks for sharing yours with us

Once upon a time:
Or maybe twice,
Or thrice
i dreamed.
That i'd find a home.
A place was found,
upon sacred ground
with neighbors
who wrote
and wrote
and the words
made the place
almost to barable.
With such neighbors
and friends
one never wants to leave the party.
and face the real world again.
Your support and imagination have inspired us all more than you can ever know Joy. Keep up the great work. And hopefully you can continue to find what you need in us, as much as we have found what we needed in you.

she carried the load, but look here - it made us stronger.
up that hill, in the darkness with her telesope, she reflected the light for us, who were standing only in the dim light.
