Backstory: Before the war of Cybertron, Interceptor had a simple life as a police officer as well as had a family that was made up of his father, mother, and girlfriend named Chainsaw. His time of peace was cut short, however, when the war started between the Decepticons and the Autobots. All hell broke loose with Explosions and Ion Blasters shootings all around the planet along with death. Sadly for Max, his mother and father were among the casualties by the time he joined the side of the Autobots. Chainsaw was right by him through the war, the two dealing with training in order to fight the Decepticons, protecting their world and surviving. When Cybertron was near the brink of it falling, Interceptor and Chainsaw had no choice but to separate, but not before the two gave each other a memento to remember each other if they were to encounter each other again. Interceptor was given Chainsaw's Necklace and Chainsaw was given Interceptor's old Battle mask shades. Once Interceptor arrived at Earth , he scanned an alt mode so he could blend in with Earth’s world. He learned about Human culture with movies at the Drive-In Theaters, listening to humans as they live their lives. He eventually bumps into a fellow Autobot named Thea. He informs her about his allegiance to the Autobots as she does the same. He was led to her base once she learned that Interceptor was alone. When there, he was welcomed to the Autobot team led by the leader: Road-lightning
