Still slowly trudging forward towards my various projects and such, writing is proving to be a very difficult task. Anyway as I continue to eat these elephants bit by bit, I've started going to college again. This time though I intend to pull through completely and graduate. I'm going to my local tech college for animation instead of my local art school. Its very chill rn
This is an assignment for my Principles of Character Design class, and I intend to use these characters in the future, maybe I'll change up the designs before the final. The pose on the left was done without reference but the process to get to these poses was also an assignment from class.
First we did random gestures, then we turned those gestures into silhouettes, and from that we gave the silhouettes structure and turn them into actual characters for animation. My designs are probably a bit complex for the animation we'll likely cover in class, but I think I'm up for the challenge. I cant finish the lineart or color it though, that's another assignment. I'll update this when I have it done probably.
