(Skull Island Bestiary) 💀Foetodon ferrus is classified as a wide-bodied, powerful-jawed Notosuchian (a close relative of crocodiles) adapted as an opportunistic scavenger on Skull Island.
The habitat of the Foetodon is the thickness of the jungle where it roams and hides among the leaf litter waiting to ambush prey, the pressure of its bite is so lethal that few can escape or survive the infections transmitted by the batteries of its saliva. (Which is why it was called cruel stinky tooth)
From very young the small Foetodon are preyed upon by other predators such as wading birds and herons that capture them while they inhabit the shallow ponds where they spawned, when they come of age their only concern is to stay out of the way of a Vastatosaurus Rex.
As a final fact in the King Kong movie (2005) the beautiful "Ann Darrow" attracted the attention of a couple of Foetodon who tried to kill her in a hollow log but worse things inhabit Skull Island. (The female Foetodon is the one that manages to escape 😮)
