Description
(Because Halloween is a fragment of the story of "Soul Reaver" 🎃 👻)The “Sluagh” are spectral predators that inhabit the Underworld of Nosgoth, like opportunistic jackals they feed on lost souls that fall into the spectral dimension; The only free soul that can notice their hideous appearance is "Raziel" who in the form of an avenging specter can fight them.
Alone the "Sluagh" prefer to flee before facing the wrath of "Raziel" but when they are in groups they become more aggressive and skilled if they have an overwhelming advantage against "Raziel", the battle for existence begins and those who lose are the victor's food; In some cases there is the opportune cannibalism among the "Sluagh" to regain strength and continue the fight. (If the winner is "Raziel" he can feed on the souls of all the Sluagh and regain his energy.)

The appearance of the "Sluagh" is described as humanoid reptiles with greenish skin, long hair with large illuminated eyes and sinister teeth. The "Sluagh" are inhabitants of a dimension invisible to mortal eyes, this dimension is called the "Spectral Kingdom" or world of the dead, a dark and sad place that reflects the twisted angles of the "Material Kingdom", without time or physical presence of water lost souls in this dimension can roam the eternity of this purgatory until they are claimed by the native creatures of this dimension as food. This cyclical chain of birth, death and rebirth has the religious connotation of being called the “ Wheel of Fate ” and all sentient beings participate in each turn to feed the whims of the ancient god 🐙 except for the soul of “Raziel” who achieved the free will of their destiny. 😊
As a curious fact the "Sluagh" are restless spirits of Irish and Scottish folklore.
Finally I want to quote the dialogues of "Raziel" and the ancient god when they find a couple of "Sluagh":
*Raziel: "What scabrous wretches are these?"
*The Elder God: Sluagh, the scavengers of the Underworld. Their feral hunger has claimed countless souls - spirits who now shall never find their rest. 🐙
