This unique one of kind Sculpture is an Obsidian Dragon made with Innovation & Imagination.

The media is Obsidian, which is a very brittle and unforgiving rock that was first shattered into fragments then the shards of Obsidian had been blended together to bring the piece to life.

Obsidius was born on May 20th, 2017 formed out of the volcanic stone from his home into the shape of a Young adult Magma drake that is casually at rest. Obsidius is a one of kind unique creation with no peers to contend with as he explores his mountainous home. He is inquisitive and often roots up colorful stones which he rolls and gnaws upon until they are finely polished works of art. The Red Jasper is favorite and it can alway be found within his grasp or close at hand, yet never out of his sight.

His creator gave him a 30sided dice to keep him amused during the photo session, which is pictured in this latest photo.

Black Obsidian has a unique characteristic when used as media, with a depth of beauty that can only be seen in person. The reflective surface creates a challenge to capture the true essence of its depths in an 2D photo. None the less I hope you enjoy this piece.
