Your mind shattered in a million pieces like glass shards. You knew that there was no going back. The only thing waiting for you will be death. So this is what Falling feels like. It was as if your were being stripped from the world. There was humanity and there was you. You were being filled with bitter emotions and sour thoughts. You had turned your back to the world and sunshine, now facing the fires of Hell and an endless pit of despair.

Falling forever. Never reaching the comfort of the earth or of the sun. Is it always going to be like this? A never ending Fall?

Your eyes snapped open to see a curious face above you. Judal. He smirked and stood up.

"About time you woke up,kiddo. Though, three days is quite a long time to Fall." Judal examined his hands, never settling his gaze on you.

"Three days?" You sat up,stretching. Only to realize you were in an enourmous bed with crimson curtains draped around the corners.

"Where am I?" You yawned.

"My bed. Originally, I had you set on the floor but you looked quite uncomfortable(not to mention those agonizing screams of yours), so I had to place you on my bed. Now off you go. Take a bath and meet me back in my room for lunch." He shoved you to the door and plopped on his bed, his wand twirling around his hands. As you left his room you wandered through the halls of the mysterious place. That was when you abruptly stopped. Someone was following you. You patted your trousers to find your dagger missing. Damn, you thought, I'm vulnerable. Your ears perked up as you heard the soft padded footsteps of a girl inching toward you.

You swiveled around and pinned her to the wall, only to find a scared face of a child.

"Eeee! I'm sorry I snuck up on you! I just didn't see you in the palace before." The girl blushed deeply and bowed her head in embarrassment as you slowly let her go. Fancy clothing was hung around her with her pink hair held back. Royalty, maybe? you thought, starting to apologize.

" Please, it is my fault for such behaviour. I shouldn't have tensed up so easily. Are you hurt?" You bowed lowly and looked up to see her face.

"No,no. I'm fine,...? What's your name?"

"(name). Do you mind if I asked yours?"

"Not at all. It's Kougyoku Ren." Your eyes shot up as you feigned your suprise. Just as I thought. You apologized once more.

"I'm so sorry, princess. I was on my way to take a bath."

"Oh, well then you can use my bathroom." She said leading the way. That was how it happened. You found yourself talking Kougyoku like you were old mates. When you finished, you dressed your self in the same clothes (now clean and washed) as a thought struck your mind. Judal.

Oh shit. You ran past the princess, thanking her and located Judal's room.

"I'm so sorry for being late-" A shard of ice zipped past you and dug deep in the door. You felt blood trickle down your cheek from the clean cut. Judal's face was calm, yet his eyes flared with impatience. He walked toward me and whispered,

"Make me wait again and I'll have you skinned alive." When I heard his steps receding I exhaled in relief.

Back in Sindria.

"King Sinbad, I heard that old man say that he saw Judal take (name). Is it true?"

The king didn't respond.

He loved (name).

And now she was gone. He tried to shut out the hateful look on her face but it kept coming back to haunt him in his nightmares. How? How had she turned from that sweet young woman into the murderous person he saw days ago. He gritted his teeth. He was going to bring her back home and make her remember all the good times they had when they were young. He wasn't going to give (name) up to Judal. Not now. Sinbad turned to Ja'far.

" Send a troop to get (name)."

" But where do I send them?"

"Where do you think?"

Back in Kou

"So what are you doing here,(name)?" Kougyoku sat on her bed, adoring the dress you wore.

"Judal took me in. I really don't think this dress suits me. It is for a lady like yourself. Not a commoner." Kougyoku blushed at the compliment about her being a lady. You started take the dress off when you heard the princess reply.

"So your his new toy?"

"I suppose." You slipped your old clothes back on and sat at the edge of the bed. You opened your mouth to say more but you were interupted by the doors opening. Judal stood there hands on his hips.

"Pack your things, kiddo. We're off."

You raised your eyebrow.

"Off where exactly?"

But Judal already left, leaving traces of the scent of jasmine.
