The wolf pup keeps herself quietly busy and is very inquisitive about life, not knowing a single stranger in her pack. Not loud or boisterous nor shy or reserved, Celandine is confident with a capital “C” without being boastful or prideful. Physical Description:
  Moderation is key in the physical attributes of this she-wolf. She seems to be skipping the unpleasant ugly puppy stage minus those heavy floppy puppy ears that will rise over time. Celandine has an overall nice mixture of her parents’ qualities from both the Valley and the Steppe. Her pelt is a nice length and good thick pact with slight wavy curl, calling back to her father’s Valley roots, while retaining her mother’s golden flax colour almost to a T. Her bone structure is more oval than round in shape, built more for efficiency like her mother and her Steppe ancestors. It is easiest to see her structure when she is wet. She is naturally expressive throughout her entire body and is easy to read with no real tricks up her sleeve. Her gait is correct, prancy not clunky or cumbersome, and efficient; pleasant to look at in motion and at rest.

++ Dependable “You need help? I’m your gal!”
Few things mean more to this girl than getting the job done, her word, and sticking to it; if Cela says she will do something, it’ll get done. This applies especially thick to her blood family and her packmates in Onni; any failure to do right by those around her is grievous in her eyes. Her father Bruce has warned that keeping everyone close is not possible, this may be something she has to learn in time..
++ Driven “A job? I’ll get that done for sure!”
Rain, snow, or shine, it does not matter to Cela even elbow deep in clay-mud or stinking moose pies. She rarely gives up on anything or anyone and she takes great pride in having purpose and having a task to do. Sometimes this might translate into taking on more than she can chew but the young flaxen pup seems to take everything in stride with a can-do attitude. As she grows, it’s expected that this will translate into a good motivation to do tasks to help the Onni pack as it is part of their way of life.
++ Inviting “Aren’t you just the sweetest honey bee here?”
Although she is mostly seen and not heard as a youngling in groups, Celandine is truly a friendly face who gets along with most everybody. She is not shy in the least but observant and in small groups she often tends to take a spotlight in entertaining conversation. Sprinkling light compliments here and there for every encounter, she seems to make up her own expressions from time to time. She seems to smile for days and hang on every word that comes across her ears, undivided.
== Creature of Habit “Every day starts with a nice stretch and a back scritch!”
Once a routine is set it is hard for Celandine to break it, even if it is something mundane. While this is neither a positive or negative trait, she likes schedules and structure to her life; she adjusts… okay to change unlike her mother who is quite resilient to changes. Let’s just say being flexible is not exactly a cornerstone in young Cela’s life and will have to be a learned skill.
- - Naughty “Stash that frog hopper for later, Dad will leap out of his fur!”
Somewhat of a prankster and defiant, as a young pup she finds great delight in lighthearted fun at the cost of others. Whether it’s loosing a lizard in her mother’s sleeping area or rearranging small items to be noticeably but ever so slightly displaced. All of this is good hearted fun to Celandine and she is never cruel. She might even refuse to be bathed from time to time.
- - Intrusive “You said she did what?!”
While she is kind, she is also nosey to the point of prying at times. Social graces as a young pup sometimes fall flat to her and she will find herself quickly wearing her welcome if too inquisitive. Think of the toddler who asks why until a parent gives up; poor Bruce and Lilith. Although she never shares her “findings”, she has developed a bad habit of digging for salacious tidbits
- - Spoiled “Oh c’mon, dad said it was fine!”
No one could blame them with so much loss that they spoiled their children from the get go but Celandine is certain to take advantage of a situation where she can. She is thoughtful at times however she is not above complaining to get her way when the mood strikes. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into a trend toward a nose in the air but time will tell.

Pre-Group History:
  This little buttercup was born in a mostly healthy litter of six, to two unconditionally loving parents who want to give everything to their offspring in a world that has been so cruel to them. One of her siblings is partially blind however overall the remainder of the litter is healthy and in an array of vivid coats and varying in traits of her fifty-fifty heritage.
  Father, Bruce, was born into a single family pack with three pups who would learn the solemn fate of winter that would dwindle their family web down to just Bruce and his brother. Later still, Celandine’s father would learn more of hostility as he was separated from his only surviving sibling before joining up with the Verndari.
  Mother, Lilith, is no stranger to struggle but seemingly no more. She was born into a wonderful pack that she eventually fled with her previous mate because of a neighbour rival conflict that was too bloody and terrible in outlook. Her first litter of four, putting it lightly, did not fare well to no fault of her or her mate at the time; fate just did not agree with her path in life.
  Both experiencing tremendous loss in their lives, Bruce and Lilith enjoyed each other's company once their long and agonizing paths met. A loner and a mender with similar trauma behind them, somehow poetic in fate’s web; their friendship swelling in care and love slowly before blossoming into a beautiful family of eight. Through what is thought to be kismet, Bruce and Lilith both found what they had been longing for; stability and family within the dutiful and helpful pack Onni.
