Deviously cute. The original one was demonic and wonderful, because it didn't show the actual explosion, more of the aftereffects, sort of like to say, "Oops, I think you just lost sommat.. ehehehehehe....", but I didn't really like HOON's (No offense to HOON, he's great) because it felt too violent and out of control. It showed too much of the explosion and didn't center on the character at all. It just felt creepy. Great work regardless!

The character is simply fantastic beyond words, and I love the stylization of the explosion. The only things I don't see working are the bright pointy bits coming out of the explosion. Given how dynamic and crafted everything else is in the picture, they look a bit slapped-on and out of place to me. But everything else, wow. The way you used lights and shadows to show folds and creases in the shorts and glove amazes me. Gotta love multiple-source lighting.
