Vianca and Barbary begin their first day on the job! And where else would be a better starting point to test their mettle, than the gritty, sweltering Cactus Fields--which, as the name would suggest, does indeed have way too many cacti. How incredibly daunting.
I may end up doing the rest of the pages for this task in black and white, and leaving this one colored as a sort of introductory splash page. Really depends on how much time I find to work on this before the deadline.

I really had to resist the urge to squeal. Like, super loudly. This is soo awesome, and we were just talking about it. Things I like: 1. The color pops. It looks so great. 2. Their expressions! Vianca looks so prissy, it's great. 3. Backgrounds. I wish I could do backgrounds as well as you.
This is great. I even like the little dust haze. I didn't have to wait as long as I thought for a page. I'm super stoked. Your art is improving so much!
