Bug is a wise queen, a truth-seeker in every sense of the word. When she heard how Selkouni excitednly described the constellation-maps
they once found in Rana's hometown - the ignorance and lack of experience of such species surprised her.

The horns of her kin are extaordinery "keys":
As a highly sensible and intelligent creature able to follow the streams of energy of stars and the thousand suns and planets,
she is able to bend these streams, to connect and align them in the right loop that would increace in power with each spin -
That's what gives her the ability to create portals through the worlds - making that very energy open a loophole as a "window"
and allow the access of the being that hold the "key" to pass through.

That is how most of their journey went on at first. The crew was dependant on Bug as the "bus driver" between the worlds.
