Description
I like to recycle when I can. This work comprises almost totally of recycled materials. Even the canvas was a pre-used picture. It is basically a collage as the buildings and wall are comprised entirely of old bits of discarded canvas cut up and placed to create the image. Even the boat is fronted by wood shavings to give an effective 3D effect. The frame is made up from discarded battening and coated with a wax paint. The acrylic paint used was all tail end stuff about to go off.
