Whoa, wonderful picture! x) The contrast is amazing, would love to be there. I don't really get the caption though -with just the title, I'd think it as a reference to the colour, but I see no house and no cats?

yeah its really just a reference to the colour. i usually just write random things as captions - just whatever pops into my head when i look at the picture when i go to submit it. so, most of them would probably not make sense, but maybe have some sort of obscure connection with the picture. my mind works in weird ways =]

This isn't one of my usual critiques, I've just been meaning to say it on one of these pictures for a while-
If I lived there, I'd have a mind like yours too. Yet I do have a mind like yours - a creative mind - and I live in a place that's beautiful in a different way. Maybe it's the right setting that makes minds like ours?
I'm tempted to take some pictures of my home now.

you know, that's a clever little thought. and i think depending on where you live your creativeness and your mind will be different. like, i think i would take completely different photos if i lived in the city, for example. i'd take more random portraits, less emotive things. and you should take some pictures of your home. i think pictures of the places we always see turn out better, because we look closer for something to make that photo special.
