Well this drawing is also a little protest. Why I am protesting? Because someone called Penders has erased a lot of characters from Archie comics.
They were good characters, and one of them is Julie-Su. Some people is telling me that why I keep supporting this character, because she doesn't appear in the videogames, and now neither in the comic. Ok, for this people, i have to say something : I'M GONNA KEEP SUPPORTING THIS CHARACTER, BECAUSE I LOVE THIS CHARACTER, THAT'S ALL. If you don't like it, please don't look at it! But stop saying me she is a bad character, or simply that she doesn't exist!!! Respect my opinion as I respect yours!!

alright, i dont read archie, but i think i understand a little bit... i just need answers to a few questions...
first off, is archie written by one person, or is it like fan fiction, where everyone can make their own versions to it?
secondly, if the answer to the question above is number 2, then how can this one guy pull out all of these characters? all he would be doing is creating an alternate universe in which those characters do not exist for his own individual version of the story.
and lastly, i think i need a little insight into the relationship in between the official sonic and archie comics... what i mean is, how do official sonic fans react to archie and why, and vice versa, and i also need backround info on sonic and archie.
sorry if i'm asking a lot, but i really would love to understand better. as i said before, i don't read archie, but i bet its really fun, just like sonic!

"Archie" is the company that publishes the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. Penders used to be an illustrator for the comics, but there was this big messy lawsuit about 'his' characters being used without his permission. Both sides made bad decisions, and basically the whole fan base is pretty convinced that a bunch of really awesome characters aren't ever coming back because of it, including Julie-Su.
I am a fan of Sonic through the Archie comics, although I think some of the games look pretty awesome too. Some people of the different sections of the fan base get really cross with each other and get into huge arguments, but personally I think one can be a fan of multiple parts of the Sonic franchise.
BTW, if you're interested in reading the Archie comics (which are AWESOME), I know of a website where you can do so, its the one I use. I can send you the link if you're interested.

Ok, it suppose that what you call official sonic is Sonic games and this things.
Archie Sonic comics are official comics of Sonic, in wich apear the characters of the games, and some more, I don't know how to explain it better
This guy can pull out all of these characters, because they belong to him for Copyright. i know he is right and that Archie comics was using this characters, but erase them… Wasn't a solution that make the fans happy. They still keep ignoring us.
Yes, there are some relationships between the characters of the games and Archie characters, for example, Julie-Su is Knuckles girlfriend, they were soulmates… But the only way that they had to remove Penders' characters from Archie comics was locking them all in an inaccessible zone for the other characters and make a "genesis wave" that erases the memories from the characters, so they can't remember Penders' characters, who are still locked in that zone.

Yea, I heard about this case. I guess Ken Penders and both Archie have come to an agreement saying that they still CAN use the characters, it's just more than likely are rare thing though.
She's not really erased since she's in the The Lara-Su Chronicles. But since anyone who has heard about this case really REALLY hates Ken for his winning on Copyright Infringement, More than likely either the comics gonna be a big flop or it's just gonna be a meh. :\
Besides, The Comics would kinda be destroyed inside and out since pretty much about 75% of the comics is HIS characters. Then when he got something up his ass, He took them away. So I don't know if the whole settlement of the Characters is true since there are very few who say that is so, but really. It's unknown really what will happen with the characters that are NOT in the Chronicles. Other than they're just existent off screen for now. So I dunno, hope that they are still in the Comics.
