Okay, this is my very first real tutorial ever and it is for Photoshop CS... so there might bee some flaws and bad grammer. I don't know.But I hope this will help you out

the only thing i dont undestand is how to "Invert" the selection (step 3)

Hm... how can I explain it? There is a selection called Mark in the menue... or something oike that and there you find the invert button.

oh awesome! I remmember a while ago when I had no idea how to do the magic wand tool and layers, I really struggled! now I just struggle with where hte shading goes XD, I'm sure this is going to help out a lot of people Jullelin ^^

I wonder if this will work in GIMP 2.6 as well? I'll see if it does or not. May I try this same picture for practice, I was planning to make a picture for a couple of my barn friends?
