Personality:
Carina is a very sweet filly that loves to get all the attention she can from everybody.
She is a follower when it comes to herd behavior, and that has had its consequences when she's been herded with Tide... Both fillies enjoy a bit of mischief from time to time.
Carina is very food-oriented, best reward after good behavior is a pear slice or watermelon, the filly has a sweet tooth!
Overall Carina has great manners while being handled, so long as there's no bugs around. She hates insects and her muzzle being burnt because of the sun, so it is best to keep her with a blanket or spray her all over with repellent and sunscreen on her pink nose.
Her extended and collected gaits can leave anyone in awe, it's quite surprising how much of her personality she can show while on the ring without putting a wrong step. Lateral work seems to be a bit complicated to her for now, but with patience and work she will with no doubt master them. She tends to take training as a game, and rarely feels frustrated when she doesn't understand what you're asking, sometimes she'll surprise you with an unnamed move that she's made up by herself!

Storyline:
May 2023: Bred through a surrogate mare in 2023 on home grounds at Scott-Peak-Stables after her performance with Carina's dam in the CDI5* Tanz in den Mai, Nora was quick to look for a possible stallion to breed with the leased mare of the Verband after they gave her their approval to breed with Caschelle. After consulting with their contacts they found a suitable sire in The Netherlands (Carina traveled quite a lot even before being Carina XD).
April 2024: Carina was born a healthy filly (4th April). She took her time getting up, but once she was up on her feet there was no one that could stop her. Irene (veterinarian) was glad the filly seemed to have inherited her dam's soundness in her feet. She was quick to befriend Tide in the filly's meadow, both flashy Trakehner mares were quick to catch everyone's gazes as they played around and asked cuddles of whomever came close enough to the meadow. Both fillies were quite independent from their mothers, so long they stuck together. If separated they will stick to the mother like glue until the other is back.
