Introduction by his rider:
  Lucero has the expected calm and eagerness to work characteristic of the PREs with an amplitude on his gaits that reminds more of a Centro-European horse than an Iberian which has made him quite a name in the dressage rings in Europe.
He has an overall big yet athletic frame, his breeders carefully chose his lines to produce what is known nowadays as a Caballo de Deporte Español (CDE) but maintaining as much as possible the baroque frame.

Lucero is a very curious stallion and finds the most motivating training one which is varied and that includes any exercise with cones or poles. He can be ridden with a simple bridle without any problem, he actually prefers it to the double bit, although he really is not bothered by it so long as the rider has soft hands. He is very responsive to the leg aids and does not need much pressure to perform. He has a great disposition to work and just needs someone who rewards his efforts.

  He loves playing with his giant ball and prefers to live outside in a big paddock, does not mind sharing it with other stallions/geldings, even youngsters.
