Natasha's look of overconfidence and anger is now replaced by one of total senselessness, as Hydra agents tie her up to her balcony in humiliating fashion.

"Yes Madame Hydra," one of the agents says, "We've tied her up properly. She's not getting out of this easily. We'll have time to finish our mission of stealing the ancient artifacts. She is totally unconscious and we predict out for at least a few more hours. We've placed the vibration objects where you requested and they will automatically activate when she wakes up. We've taken pictures and have several secret cameras filming her, so you will have the blackmail video you need to hopefully make her consider retirement.

"Yes," Madame Hydra states, "The more the Smacked Widow is beaten senseless, the less confident she becomes. Her mind will weaken and either she'll give up this pathetic heroine work or perhaps her mind will reel so much she will be ripe to join us in our mission. Hail Hydra!"

With that the agents disappear and the Widow is left totally knocked out, unable to even leave her apartment, never mind enter the battle. She sits trussed up against the railing, her eyes closed and mouth open, uttering soft sighs of defeat.
