She doesn't actually look like that in the books, in this picture she has been drawn to look,( well like XenonRobot-ZX13 says), like she's melting XD
In the books she looks quite similar to the tv show, but she has a really big head XD

Yikes. I think I prefer the cartoon Misery also.
I find it pretty funny that Ruby seems afraid of Misery in the books (and who can blame her?) and the two are like best friends in the show.

OMG- that is quite a drastic change for MIsery when She went on the show! She reminds me of the GROKE from Moomins here, but I prefer her in the show- when she had an actual character and was an actual little girl and such.
