Bio: Ruby found Lorelei during the latter’s years of roaming the Earth discovering herself passed out in an alley after too much experimentation with human alcohol. Believing the girl to be human, she brought her up to her apartment to rest, but was surprised when Lorelei reverted to her normal form, growing wings, horns and a tail.

Lorelei awoke to the girl curiously touching her horns and immediately tried to flee, knowing she wasn’t supposed to interact with normal humans. Ruby, however, promised to keep her secret and even offered to let her stay. The two ended up speaking a lot and became fast friends.

Lorelei stayed with Ruby for several years only for their relationship to take a tragic turn. Ruby was diagnosed with a terminal condition and only had a few months to live. Her condition weakening, she asked Lorelei to use her magic to turn her into a demon even if it risked losing her personality to the instincts of a succubus. Lorelei resisted at first, but eventually caved to Ruby’s pleas.

Lorelei took every precaution during the ritual and even decided to include a small bit of her own soul to grant Ruby similar magical potential to her own. Ruby was transformed from an always somewhat frail woman into a buxom succubus with luscious red hair and, besides becoming more sensitive to her girlfriend’s touch and wanting to be more physical with her, her mind remained intact.

Ruby considered the act both a rebirth and a cementation of her feelings for Lorelei, abandoning her human name and calling herself Ruby Duskheart from now on.
