i got official ADHD diagnosis and meds today! im super happy! prepare for an art storm ill post yall!

so, last wednesday i drove 300km to my family town because i had a psychiatrist appointment ive been waiting for since around 2 months. i drove for 4ish hours (i was in my father in laws car and it stopped in the middle of a highway. couldnt power it back on. a man who stopped by helped me after waiting for around an hour). departured around 2-3AM. the visit was around 12AM. i was tired, i struggled to not fall asleep. i went on the visit and the doctor ignored everything i said, just telling me "i dont see it in you". i got no diagnosis, like none, only a shitty prescription for an antipsychotic crap that makes me unable to walk, wake up, even talk to someone. i was very upset and when i came back home finally i relapsed with pain medication, took a megadose of sleeping pills and hoped i wont have to suffer anymore. i woke up. booked a private visit. went today and got the diagnosis and prescription. left holding back happy tears. danced spinning around while waiting on my underground train. im still so happy. im so glad i didnt give up.
