"What do you mean you almost lost your father...?" Hana sat still, listening to the much larger stallion. Her eyes welled up with the thought of possibly losing her own father and mother. And her sister! "Is it.... dangerous to leave home...?"

She didn't understand what Hogo was telling her, and even though she was still a little shy, the red mare sniffed and stood up to move forward and lay her head on his shoulder and shut her eyes.
