Concept for a new story I'm working on with a friend of mine. It focuses on a cyberpunk/steampunk-esque dystopian society, built on a world in which its people developed over the remains of the body of their dragon god. These bots, called Angels, are part of the society's method of controlling its people, though two of them gain sentience after an attempt to mix the dragon god's magic with their technology, and thus Mercury (the one pictured here) and their partner Ryker are born.
