For those who have been aware of the chaotic political climate and Corona pandemic, you probably heard of what our Texas LT. Governor said some week ago that had so many people just astound had what he said in regards to opening the country again. The screencap here was taken from the SNL news report where the joke is how those words are so ridiculous and asinine that it sounds like something that KFC would do as a joke. And of course as Korey Coleman said, that line is delivered by a guy who supports re-opening places but he'll probably stay at home while everyone else has to go to work like he wants, that "more important than living" line applies to everyone else but him.

So some places are opening again (including small business in my small town) but hope to keep social distance.. which knowing people is probably going to be ignored (my brother was working at a goodwill store where on early mornings customers were lineup and would pack together and this was already pass the announcement of showdown- many not taken it seriously). Taking into consideration what experts said (watching John Oliver right now) and that 2nd wave in Fall, I get the sense that this is going to get bad before it gets better especially as the openings were done way too soon. So not optimistic for the future and I can only hope my family makes it out of this nightmare intact.
