Name: Godzilla (American) | Gojira (Japanese)
Scientific Name: Titanus Gojira
Nickname(s): King of the Monsters, God of Destruction, Gigantis, Monster Zero-One, Dagon
Age: Unknown (believed to have existed millions of years before humans)
Sex: Unknown (in Japan it is called an “it” while Americans refer to it using male pronouns)

First Recorded Appearance: Date Unknown, but there have been cave paintings depicting Godzilla and other Titans discovered on Skull Island (believed to have been considered a god)
First Modern Times Recorded Appearance: 1943 (the sinking of the USS Lawton was speculated to have been caused by Godzilla)
•Godzilla was thought to have been killed in 1954 by hydrogen bombs detonated in Bikini Atoll. Later proven to be false. Disappears into the ocean afterwards, not seen for years
•Godzilla resurfaces in 2014 to battle awakened MUTOs in San Francisco. Returns to the ocean afterwards.
•Godzilla returns again in 2019 to battle reawakened Ghidora and become the Alpha Titan/King of the Monsters (other Titans, including Mothra and Rodan, are also reawakened at this time)
•Through 2019-onwards Godzilla is spotted multiple times keeping other Titans in check

•Massive (119.8m -> 393ft)
•Bipedal
•Amphibious reptile (can breathe underwater as well as on land), swims like marine iguana
•Prehistoric (species was thought to have ruled Earth long before humans, then became dormant for millennia, only reawakening to restore balance to the earth) (considered last of its species)
•Scaly, dark grayish green skin
•Large spiny/bony protrusions running from back of head to tail (glow blue when powering up atomic breath)
•Considered a protector of Earth, a being tasked with bringing balance back to the natural order should it ever be disturbed
•Neither malevolent or benevolent, will defend itself if needed. Has “partnered” with humans but could turn on them if it believes it is threatened
•Weapons: Jaw, claws, feet, tail, atomic breath
•Radiation/nuclear energy radiates off of Godzilla’s body (also consumes radiation to survive)
