i live only for you. your smile makes my day. not seeing you, there is no day at all. i'm in the yard, you walk by as though you didn't even see me. i say "hi", you walk on.... you say nothing at all. i'm plunged into despair. there is no sun. what have i done that you are angry with me? and then, two hours later you come outside. i'm watering the weeds. you see me. and you wave. you wave so hard i'm afraid your arm will fall off. and you smile.
