The Suicide Squad has changed a lot in both of their movies and their members have gone through a lot on their missions commanded by Amanda Waller. Most of them have died, especially the ones from Team One on the Corto Moltese Mission (Savant, Captain Boomerang, Blackguard, the Detatchable Kid, Weasel, Mongal, and Javelin.) and Peacemaker ended up becoming a good guy after saving the world from Butterfly aliens.

But for this version, the Suicide Squad has got some new and returning faces who have been recaptured. 😏
