This morning as I went out to go to work I saw above me the Aurora, the best I've seen in a couple years, so I had to capture it.

Thanks Final....
No I took this just 5 minutes north of my house in Palmer, Alaska.

It is not the best I've seen but it was notable and worth capturing.

And nice, Alaska is great place too...
But sorry that I just thought of scandinavian countries, I'm European and I always conect Aurora with scandinavia

Doesnt matter east or west, if your north far enough the Aurora is visible. I always think of Alaska, despite the fact that Canada is right next door with some equally stellar places to shoot from. .

Your totally right. ... And I know that you can see the Aurora everywhere if you are north far enough ^^
But I just wanted to mention that europeans are more familiar with the scandinavian Aurora

Well canada and norway differ not very much from each other I think. They got nearly the same position in the graticule of a map. But nevertheless both countries have a very rough and beautiful landscape.
Sorry for some, if exsiting, grammatical mistakes.

no worries . I should think i'd like to see the aurora on the other side of the world, simply to say i've done it .

Thank you,
Life would be boring without dreams.... When the time comes, head to Fairbanks, and watch the aurora activities forecast its a 12 year cycle, the best being at the top peak.
