Description
Shae is probably the kind of character who bottles things up a lot, whether he means to or not. He takes things more personally than he realizes and doesn't easily forget the little looks or insults he may receive. Sometimes he's even the one who makes things worse for himself and as much as he's trying to get better, it's hard when he has trouble seeking out help or speaking up about things he may be feeling. It often feels like it's such a dumb issue, not worth bringing up or that he's just being silly for getting so upset over this "little thing", but to him it really takes it's toll.

There is only so much one can take before they break though and often that one thing can be so insignificant, but it ends up hurting the worst. Not only would he be in a vulnerable state emotionally, but mentally he beats himself up for even feeling the way he does! As if it wasn't bad enough to be brought to tears, to then tell yourself you're stupid for crying over something that really doesn't matter, just makes the feeling much worse. Really though, it wasn't just the one issue that broke him that is why he's crying, but a mix of everything he's been pushing away and trying not to linger on that resurfaces and makes this normal feeling become devastating. It's tough to open up and share things that you make yourself believe are so stupid, but sometimes you'll find that if you talk about it with those you trust the most, you'll see they might have similar experiences with this kind of thing. Shae is just working little by little on opening up more and telling himself it's okay to feel these things sometimes.

Sorry for adding this sad little doodle, it was a vent doodle I did a couple weeks ago after a pretty bad day. Shae is the poor bb I use to get out these feelings of my own, but the next thing on my list is to actually draw him happy for once because I have yet to do that and this poor buddy needs a good day too! >:0
