Real Name - Rashida Heru

Coming from Alexandria in Egypt Rashida traveled to the Giza plains with her parents as a very young child. Upon gazing at the famous sights she was hit by an intense flash of light and awakened lying atop the great Lighthouse of Alexandria. There a silhouetted figure flew down to her and stated how she is "the one that has been chosen".

Rashida awoke on the ground with her parents looking over her, they took her aside and simply saw her as fainting from the heat of the sun.

Throughout her years growing up her black hair begun to fade rapidly to white. No one could understand quite why, but then just as suddenly on her tenth birthday it changed once more to a grey and then settled on a deep royal blue. She found also that she could control and conjure incredibly powerful blue flames of intense heat. Practicing her powers she eventually settled on protecting her hometown as a heroine in her later teens. To help to this end Rashida has practiced in the arts of boxing and in the armed Tahtib stick fighting sport.

Eventually a cat person crash landed near her town which Rashida saw as a message of the gods, she helped and looked after the person (Miyuu) for some time before allowing her to leave, the cat girl was grateful for her assistance as she left.

It was at a later time that after needing some help the Crusaders (Gust and Light, through Miyuu's suggestion) traveled to Egypt in search of this heroine and she gladly joined the group.

Rashida however does not work as part of any "team" within the Crusaders as she sees the protection of her country as a priority, however she will fill in a vacant spot, switch out a member or work alongside to bolster numbers when need be and will even occasionally stay for extended lengths, this because she adores western culture and wishes nothing more than to have it stay that way just like her homeland, without forced influence from others from the outside.

From this point on Rashida has become the Sun Crusader!

Key relationships -

Soldier Crusader - Despite being heterosexual, Rashida is enamoured for Kaylee, finding her most attractive and instead usually referring to Soldier as her "Bastet" and wishing to take her back to Alexandria with her (even jokingly mentioning she would kidnap her to do so). Kaylee does not find the feelings entertaining.

Feline Crusader - Rashida first friend from the group as she met her before Feline had even become a Crusader herself. Being a cat in tradition a respected animal in Egyptian culture, Rashida is very friendly towards her. She mentions how Feline is a follower of Soldier.

Light Crusader - She feels they have a certain kinship due to their powers being alike, Cynthia with a heavenly light, Rashida with a godly fire.

Gust Crusader - Rashida is friendly rivals with Natsumi as they are similarly strong. Rashida however has defeated Gust each time they have fought, leaving Gust bound up in the training area. Gust trains each time to even the score and finally leave Rashida bound up.
